The 54th JAIF Annual Conference, titled “Japan and the World under the COVID-19 Pandemic - Environmental and Energy Issues & Nuclear Power”, will be held on April 13-14 via live streaming (Webex Events).
The 54th edition, featuring a star-studded lineup including CSIS’ President and CEO John J. Hamre, famous Japanese historian/writer Kouzou Kaku and WNA’s Director General Sama Bilbao y Leon, will look at some of the key issues that people are facing around the world: changing global and economic conditions; climate change and energy including the use of nuclear power; and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, in addition to desired Japanese energy policy and current status of Fukushima ten years after the nuclear accident.
